We recently decided to put down the computer mouse, and pick up the paint brush! Decorate your child’s nursery, bathroom, playroom or bedroom with a custom, hand-painted piece that we will create for you at time of order!
Our canvas paintings are meticulously painted with non-toxic acrylic on high-quality stretched canvas. We use only the highest quality canvas, with staples fastened to the back of the piece. Each stroke is painted on by hand, and these are NOT reproductions, photo canvases or glicee prints. Every painting is truly unique and one of a kind. These do not need frames, as they are stretched over bars 1-inch thick, and the sides are painted to match the art. After the piece is finished, we spray it with a non-toxic varnishing spray that gives it a slight shine and protects the art from yellowing.
Prices will vary depending on the design you are looking for. We are working on some new “sample” designs, and some will be offered for sale on our website. However, we can create a custom design based on popular nursery bedding or from our own stock of images. We can also simply create something from our imagination!
Sizes will be available in 8×10, 11×14, 10×10, 12×12, and 16×20. Simple designs will be priced to sell, but we can create more complex “scenes”, like jungle scenes, under water scenes, construction scenes etc…. Our smaller 8×8 canvases will also be offered in groups of 3 and 4, with a slight price discount per canvas for buying the set. 
Prices start $50 but we will be offering a discount for the first 10 orders we receive, in order to boost our sales and get some sample photographs for the web store.
Orders will be processed first come first serve and will take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to complete. Each painting is unique and will be fit into our busy work load, so please order early. Any of our paintings can also have a name or other personalization added at no extra charge.
Only whimsical ‘cartoon-like’ paintings will be done. Please do not ask us to paint your kids or your dog, unless you would like a cartoon painting done. We prefer to paint fun nursery type paintings, such as monkeys, giraffes, zebras, hippos, owls, turtles, cats, dogs, or modern patterns as seen in nursery bedding sets like Kidsline, Cocalo, etc….
Below is a hand painted canvas of a kitty cat, custom created to look like my daughter’s gray kitten. This is painted on a 12×12 square canvas with acrylic medium and an anti-yellow finishing spray. No hardware is needed. We would be happy to create a whimsical painting for you!
